Monster List

    Tiago want to create a monster guide so i recreated so that i can copy and paste when people post so that we have an ongoing list. Being that i am 16 i don't see a lot of the lower level mobs anymore so please help complete the list. As well with the ones i am no high enough to see. Please fallow the format in which i post so that i maybe able to organize the list as much as i can.

    Level seen: x (what level are you when you saw it in battle, most will be multiple levels)

    If they are all post with this format i will try to categorize them for easy reference.

    This may take a while to do but if everyone could just record one battle a day this would help build a accurate list. Need a lot of people to do this so that i can get information from each level. If the unit has already been recorded all you will have to do is post what level you are and what enemies you saw at the level.

    First of all, green mammoth and small snake start at 6. I'm not sure about scorpion and cobra, we should leave them at 5. Beyond these, you can find 4 more monsters when you are a level 6 player:

    I think all ranged have a turn speed of 1/1 or 2/1, like the Black Stingray, Poison Spider, or further into the game Medusa Queen.

    sorry I dont have the stats but (lich archer?) because I wasnt expecting new mobs..

    a - its ranged, with range resistance!
    b - my white mage does 98 damage on him and thats WITH a lucky.. i think he had 450 hitpoints !!

    he updated the Minotaur , minotaur now has HP Leach! i think it was at 20...

    now a battle with lich archer, ballbreaker, minotaur, red nightmare, and snake isn't fun at all..

    yes while the battles were easy.. (I fought with 1hp with 4 ranged..)
    the Lich archer with 50% range resist, 500 hit points WITH that other meanie is a bit much, i would rather fight 5 tree's =(
    can you make the mobs pop Lich Archer OR that other new one, but not both at the same time ??

    He cost me a full gray wizard and an elf... on the river! Without the river I would have been toast as the Ballbreaker and the fire snake would have happily finished the job. And I was at (almost) full health.
    I'm still smiling though, can't wait for the new options. Sounds very exciting

    Wow seriously? That is bad news. There was only a couple of people that were finding things easy like pibi. And the rest of us were trying to figure out how they were doing it.
    Sounds like you just made it harder for players like pibi, but impossible for others. If Yarix went down on full health, and he would have maxed all combat skills etc... Then that is seriously scarry.
    Those on perfect win loss ratios will need to watch there back.
    Btw, I've had no screen refresh in the past few hours either.
    Update: just updated. Only 1 mob on entire screen. Moved to it, killed it. Nothing more visible. :(
    Only good thing is, I didn't see any of those new nasty mobs? Higher than lvl 17 only?

    Sorry guys, level 16 was relatively easy when not unlucky. Level 17 has not been nearly as easy, and I said as much. From what I could tell (mostly from this thread), the later levels get harder. It seems fine to me for some levels to be harder than others, but it does sound like some of the later levels may be too hard now based on what Yarix has said.

    As Petar said, he is looking into balancing things further. Hopefully he's able to tweak the difficulty such that it's fun for all levels.

    LOL, thanks for pointing that out. I'm confident Petar will make adjustments to balance things out, I just won't be trying new battles until I hear he did.

    @Petar, I hate to ask, but could you put that new lizard archer guy on ice until we have some options against him. I'm now just running for stars & pots which sort of goes against the new focus on battles

    Server 1 has hardly refreshed in the past 24 hours. Either that or it refreshes and leaves me with another empty map... Not even any coin or food.

    I think I've seen only about 3 refreshes in all that time. I'm sure there have been more but considering I've checked about 20 times or more, kinda starts getting old seeing empty screens. Even moved 4 spots diagonally last time and still failed to see anything.

    my guess us that the less frequently the map refreshes the less some people check... And that just causes a cycle. Ie. Refreshes would keep getting slower and annoy more people who then wait even longer.

    I'm going to down my checks to once every 3 or 4 hours because there is just nothing to see.

    Map refresh count is around 10-15 times a day. More active servers get more refreshes.

    Perhaps I'm just in an unlucky run. Just checked... And yay, a refresh.
    I see a food and coin. So I go get the coin and see 1 mob once there... Then i go get that as well. And that is it. Empty screens again. :(

    I had a bit more luck this morning. I checked and saw 2 stars. When I got there I saw 2 more stars a pot and 2 mobs.

    Just saw a new map.bigger at top and bottom. But a lot like forest.
    But if tank In the right place (near top of screen) it could be an ok map... But of course it wasn't for me, tank at very bottom... So was as bad as forest, and they had 3 shooters. The pain. Least I didn't die.

    @Yarix, yes new mobs are nasty but I love it! It makes the game fun and challenging again. Before new mobs it was very boring I had the exact same strategy each battle and could almost do it in my sleep.

    Yeah, I love battles where your strategy influences the outcome. However, I've been in 2 battles now where my gray wizard is killed in round 1. My melee guys can just about cope with enemy melee, but not under a hail of enemy arrows. And even if I'd win (which I didn't) the health cost is so high I need to go collect health first while I play the game for the battles.
    There's probably another, more significant
    difference between us. You take losses as a side effect to battles while I still had a somewhat decent win/loss ratio (1500/10). Each loss still hurts, especially as I didn't do anything terribly wrong.

    It's ok though, I'll wait for the upcoming tactical options & spells =P~

    Maybe you capture a young dragon and it can be added as a playable unit. As it ages and levels, you use him to battle and capture more powerful dragons...

    Once dragon battles begin, a victory would give you some % chance for treasure and/or a small % chance for a hatchling, which could be inserted in the 5 unit party and allowed to mature with experience gained separately from the player. A hatchling could also be sold as treasure or traded to other players.
    Then it really would be Dragon Collector.
