I currently have a level 9 mage character with 3 mana skills maxed. I have 3 ranged, white mage and firestarter that I swap battle to battle, and swordsman and knight that I swap as well. I still run into need to use health pots all the time to run more than a battle or two. ]]>
v1.0 - few pointers for high level players Sun, 10 Jun 2012 04:43:30 +0200 pjuros 485@/forum/discussions
- you all got few units with high levels, you just need to upgrade their stats, there should be "Upgrade" button next to unit image on "Units" page. You can select from randomly offered two attributes, it changes with every upgrade.
- buy some equipment for your units, I enabled some 5 level items in shop
- if you buy new unit, it is level 0, you must bring it in fights to level up and get some upgrade points
- later this day there will be some mana potions on map and dungeon monsters will be weakened to make it easier in dungeons]]>

Now that I have hit lvl 13, I am getting hit with battles with 3 and sometimes even 4 ranged enemy units. I am using the ranged strategy, where my fight crew consists of all the ranged + 1 melee unit.

It still not at the point where I can heal with dungeons. But now they are worthwhile for the experience and loot possibilities where they were not before.

Since dungeon difficulty does not change as a product of your character's level, they will only become easier for me.

Just thought i'd share my experience, since I had always wondered.

new unit purchase order Sun, 08 Apr 2012 13:37:14 +0200 z__ 450@/forum/discussions
After that, you can purchase three additional units in town (a ranger @ lvl7 for 500 coin, a soldier @ lvl 9 for 750 coin, and another mage @ lvl11 for 1000 coin)

So my question is, what are the experts opinions on when to purchase these units?

How does defense and resistance stack? Mon, 09 Apr 2012 03:17:06 +0200 Elan 452@/forum/discussions
Is it 30% (10 def) + 20 (resist) = 50% reduction
Ie: 100 damage - (30% + 20%) = 50 final damage
30% reduction, than 20% reduction on the reduced amount
Ie: 100 damage -30% = 70. Then 70 -20% = 56 final damage
are dungeons worth it? Wed, 04 Apr 2012 19:35:01 +0200 z__ 447@/forum/discussions
At my level, is it worth it for me to tackle a dungeon? Or are they just a distraction with limited return vs. The resource inputs to clear one out?

Thanks in advance.

Battle tactics Mon, 13 Jun 2011 17:10:43 +0200 Lightblade 150@/forum/discussions I don't login every hour. I only login 2-3 times per day. This accomplishes two things: 1) I have TONS of moves when I log in, so I can collect SEVERAL items and fights, and 2) I get a lot of my natural healing, so I use WAY less pots. That's how I was getting 5-6 fights before this system. It really does matter. *stepping off soap box*
This tactic will work in EVERY fight, regardless of how often you login. (Keep in mind, this does not apply to ranged enemies...if I figure them out, I will post here.)
In any combat field, group your melee fighters together in a line. Make sure your swordman is at the TOP of the line. I usually try to have my capeman middle, and knife-guy bottom. Enemies will ALWAYS hit up-left if the option is available. The reason you want cape man middle is if you are in a field where 2-3 enemies can face off with you, is because the enemy at the bottom will hit your middle fighter, and his defence is exceptional. The idea here, is you use your swordman to SOAK DAMAGE. He is your tank, and putting him at the top ensures he takes most of the lumps. I usually have to heal him 2-250 hp after any fight, depending on what I'm fighting.
As for skills that help this layout: Max attack, max defence, max melee resist. (You take FAR more hits from melee attackers than ranged, making melee resist much more useful than ranged) and finally, max luck. I am able to kill a golem or mammoth in one round (assuming I can clear the ranged in rd 2, and it doesn't get the first move)
Basically, if your 3 melee are lined up, make sure the top fighter is your swordman. He needs to take 90% of the damage, as he has 700 hp.

Like I say, I've gone from 5-6 to over 10 fights per day with this tactic. Do with this information what you will, but hopefully, this will help you maximise your turns>experience ratio. (My average xp per move now is roughly 5 xp per step)

Any comments are gladly welcomed.]]>

Levels 1-3 are the slowest and more difficult levels but if you fallow a few tips they should make the rest of the game easier

1. Pick up every potion you see.
2. In battle don't tank more damage then needed. Don't use all your moves if not needed. Don't move into range of the malee mobs let them come to you.
3. If you don't see anything that you can get too with your remaining moves don't move! Save them and wait for the map to reset and see what you can do then.
4. Once again pick up every potion you see.
5. Go to town if you are close and you don't see anything to move at then leave to get a new random place.
6. Don't heal any of your party to just 51 always to atleast 100. At 51 u will get 1 hit just like if you only had 1 hp.
7. Don't alway use all your turns. if you start getting low on turns don't roam the map blindly. Just sit and wait and hour or two and wait for stuff to reset. Maybe you might get 3 mobs a few stars and 45+ turn being you will gain more and might waste some but if u get low sit still!

Once you get to level 4 you should have caught on by then and things get much easier from there on atleast through level 5. Good luck and have fun!

Edit because of into from other thank you for your input

This may take a while to do but if everyone could just record one battle a day this would help build a accurate list. Need a lot of people to do this so that i can get information from each level. If the unit has already been recorded all you will have to do is post what level you are and what enemies you saw at the level.
